CCTV Installation in Poes Garden: AI Cameras for Bungalows
Large bungalows in Poes Garden, Boat Club Road and Alwarpet have a steady stream of visitors, delivery staff, drivers and domestic workers. A CCTV installation in Poes Garden style bungalow needs to answer one question quickly: who came, when, and what did they do? The video above shows how AI face detection answers it in seconds.
Here is how the Stanklin AI cameras we install, from a Taiwan-based AI CCTV brand, help bungalow owners and their security teams.
Face lists instead of hours of footage
In the video, a missing milk packet is traced in two seconds. With an ordinary camera you would rewind three hours of morning footage. The AI camera instead photographs the face of everyone who comes, such as the newspaper delivery person and the milkman, and lists them. Click a face and that visit plays.
The camera also sends the face photos of visitors to your phone, so you can see at a glance who came to the house yesterday, without scrolling through 24 hours of video. For a bungalow with many visitors, that is the difference between a usable record and a pile of footage.
Human detection and sirens to support your guards
Many bungalows already have guards. AI human detection on the boundary can alert them, and the owner's phone, when a person enters a marked zone at night. A loud siren speaker and a voice warning are designed to deter the person before they reach a door. These features support your guards; they do not replace them.
Discretion and privacy
Cameras should protect without feeling intrusive. Use neat cabling in conduit, never place cameras to look into private rooms or neighbours' windows, and agree who can see live and recorded footage. Use strong passwords for remote access, and tell household staff that cameras are in use.
Areas to cover
- Main gate and guard room: clear faces and number plates for every visitor.
- Driveway and parking.
- Boundary walls: corners and sides facing lanes.
- All doors: main, side, back, balcony and terrace.
- Service areas: kitchen entrance, garage and staff quarters.
Colour night vision, audio and two-way talk
Built-in lights give a colour picture at night, audio is recorded with video, and a large speaker lets you talk to visitors at the gate from your phone.
Design first, then install
A bungalow needs a survey, not a package. We walk the boundary with you and your head of security, mark camera positions on a plan, and agree zones, recording days and who can view footage. If you want a design done before any equipment is chosen, see our CCTV consultant guide. The cameras have a metal body and a Sony sensor with a 2 year replacement warranty, and we use pure copper cable, never copper-clad aluminium (CCA).
Key takeaways
- CCTV installation in Poes Garden bungalows should combine face lists, human detection and siren speakers.
- Face lists save hours of searching and show who visited at a glance.
- Design discreetly, agree who sees the footage and support your guards.
Frequently asked questions
Can the cameras be discreet?
Yes. We choose compact cameras and route cables in conduit or concealed paths so the finish stays neat.
Can the cameras work with our existing guards?
Yes. Alerts and a screen at the gate help guards see more, and alerts can reach the owner's phone.
How long can footage be kept?
That depends on storage size and camera count. We agree the number of days with you in the quotation.
Do you handle Boat Club Road and Alwarpet as well?
Yes. Our Chennai team covers bungalows and apartments across the city.
